OpenFlix Creator Content Policy

Effective Date: February 21, 2026 — Last Revised: February 21, 2026

This Content Policy (“Policy”) governs all content uploaded, published, distributed, or otherwise made available through the OpenFlix platform, operated by Open Labs, LLC. as OpenFlix (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By uploading or submitting any content to OpenFlix, you (“Creator,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy in its entirety, in addition to our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

Riff-Specific Rules — No Commercial Promotion

These additional rules apply specifically to all Riff content on OpenFlix

OpenFlix Riffs are a creative platform for original entertainment content. Riffs shall not be used as an advertising or promotional channel. The following are strictly prohibited in all Riff content:

  • Advertising or promoting any product or service — including direct or indirect sales pitches, product demonstrations intended to drive purchases, product placements, unboxing or review content designed to promote sales, affiliate marketing, promotional discount codes, referral links, or any content whose primary purpose is to drive commercial transactions for goods or services.
  • Promoting a brand, business, or organization — including display of commercial logos or branding for promotional purposes, sponsored content, brand partnerships, corporate messaging, multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes, or any content that functions as a commercial advertisement regardless of whether compensation was received.
  • Promoting an individual or public figure — including influencer promotion or cross-promotion, political campaigning or endorsements, celebrity endorsement content, personal solicitation of any kind, or content created primarily to build a following for commercial purposes on another platform.
  • Fundraising or soliciting payments outside the platform — including crowdfunding links (GoFundMe, Kickstarter, etc.), donation requests, cryptocurrency solicitation, Patreon or subscription service promotion, or directing viewers to external payment platforms or personal payment accounts (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, etc.).

Consequences for Violations

Violations of these Riff-specific rules will result in: (a) immediate suspension of your ability to create, upload, or publish Riffs; (b) removal of all offending Riff content; and (c) forfeiture of any and all earnings associated with the violating Riff content. Repeat or egregious violations may result in permanent termination of your OpenFlix creator account and forfeiture of all outstanding earnings across the platform. Open Labs, LLC. as OpenFlix reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether content constitutes prohibited commercial promotion.

1. Prohibited Content

You shall not upload, publish, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that falls within the following categories. This list is non-exhaustive, and Open Labs, LLC. as OpenFlix reserves the right to remove any content that it determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, to be in violation of the spirit or letter of this Policy.

1.1 Pornography and Sexually Explicit Material

Content depicting real or simulated sexual acts, explicit nudity intended to arouse, pornographic imagery, revenge pornography, non-consensual intimate imagery, or any content that would be classified as obscene under applicable community standards. This prohibition extends to content that uses artificial intelligence, deepfakes, or other technology to generate or alter imagery to create sexually explicit material depicting real persons without their verifiable written consent.

1.2 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

Any content that depicts, promotes, glorifies, or facilitates the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors in any form whatsoever. This includes real, computer-generated, or AI-generated imagery. Open Labs, LLC. as OpenFlix maintains a zero-tolerance policy and will immediately report all such content to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement authorities. Accounts involved will be permanently terminated without notice.

1.3 Illegal Activity

Content that depicts, promotes, instructs, solicits, or facilitates conduct that violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation. This includes, without limitation: the manufacture, sale, or distribution of controlled substances or illegal drugs; human trafficking; money laundering; fraud; extortion; bribery; illegal gambling; weapons trafficking; terrorism or terrorist-related activities; cybercrimes including hacking, phishing, or distribution of malware; and any content that provides instructions for the commission of criminal acts.

1.4 Copyright and Trademark Violations

Fair use claims will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and the burden of demonstrating fair use rests solely with the uploading Creator.

1.5 Hate Speech and Discrimination

Content that promotes hatred, violence, discrimination, or harassment against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law. This includes content that dehumanizes individuals or groups, promotes supremacist ideologies, or incites violence against any person or class of persons.

1.6 Violence and Graphic Content

Content depicting real-world acts of extreme violence, torture, mutilation, or murder for the purpose of shock or gratification; real-world footage of death or dying persons without legitimate news, documentary, or educational purpose; animal cruelty; and content that glorifies, incites, or provides instruction for the commission of violent acts against any person or group.

1.7 Harassment and Doxxing

Content that targets specific individuals with the intent to harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or silence them; content that reveals or threatens to reveal personally identifiable information (“doxxing”) including but not limited to home addresses, phone numbers, financial information, medical records, or other sensitive personal data without the subject’s explicit consent.

1.8 Misinformation and Deception

Content that deliberately spreads false or misleading information that is likely to cause real-world harm, including but not limited to: health misinformation that could endanger lives; election interference or voter suppression; fraudulent financial schemes; impersonation of public officials or authoritative sources; and manipulated media (deepfakes) presented as authentic without clear disclosure.

1.9 Regulated Goods and Services

Content that facilitates or promotes the sale, purchase, or trade of regulated goods and services including, without limitation: firearms and ammunition (where prohibited); controlled substances and pharmaceutical products; tobacco and nicotine products marketed to minors; counterfeit goods; and endangered species or protected wildlife products.

1.10 Malicious and Harmful Technical Content

Content that contains, distributes, or facilitates the distribution of malware, viruses, spyware, ransomware, or other malicious code; content designed to exploit platform vulnerabilities; and content that facilitates unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, or data.

2. Creator Representations and Warranties

By uploading content to OpenFlix, you represent and warrant that:

You further acknowledge that any breach of this Policy may result in immediate and irreparable harm to Open Labs, LLC. as OpenFlix and/or third parties, for which monetary damages alone may be insufficient, and you consent to the entry of injunctive relief in addition to any other remedies available at law or in equity.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of content on OpenFlix that you believe violates this Policy, please report it through our in-platform reporting tools or contact us directly at [email protected]. 8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Subject to the mandatory arbitration and class action waiver in our Terms of Service, you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming for any matter not subject to arbitration.

9. Severability

10. Governing Language and Translations

This Policy is written in English. We may make translations available in other languages so that you can read and understand it in your own language, and those translations are provided for your convenience. The English-language version is the authoritative text and the version you agree to be bound by; in the event of any conflict, ambiguity, or inconsistency between the English version and a translation, the English version governs — except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country or state in which you reside requires that an agreement be supplied and interpreted in your own language, in which case the version in that language governs for you to the extent that law requires. A translation never extends, limits, or otherwise alters the substance of this Policy. If any part of a translation is unclear to you, read the English version before uploading content, or contact us with your question.
